Marie Clair

Marie Clair - she's on your wavelength.

This was my very own first Radio show. Broadcast on a Saturday night, the music was very up beat to get the listeners in the mood for going out. The program was so much fun, playing great tunes and talking to the listener's about their party plan's - I often needed to lie down afterwards. You can listen to me on my own show along with the rest of the guys by simply clicking on the icon below.

In Jan 2006 I joined the team at Kingdom FM. Doing my own mid-day show each week day. It was nice to get back into radio again. It's great fun.

Marie Clair and Tony Black Burn

Tony Blackburn and Marie Clair.

I've also worked with radio legend and "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here" winner Tony Blackburn. This was quite an experience.

Co-presenting with Tony on a Breakfast Show is something I'll never forget. One night we decided to go out for dinner in Glasgow. As we walked to the restaurant I joked that we should count the number of people who stopped to speak to him. Just then a man walked by and said "Look it's, Marie-Clair from the Breakfast Show". As we laughed Tony said "One to you Marie". By the end of the night I'd lost count how many people spoke to him.

Robin Galloway

Marie Clair’s breakfast buddy Robin Galloway on the mic.

I used to present with Robin Galloway on the Real Radio Breakfast Show. We began working together nearly 3 years ago and during our time together we were awarded the Guardian Media Groups "Breakfast Show of the year Award". We also travelled to Memphis to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Elvis. Broadcasting the show live every morning from the USA was amazing. While on the breakfast show I had to get up extremely early - the show started at 5.00am. It fair to say I didn't have much of a social life as I had to be in bed by 9.00pm at the latest. I had a great time working with Robin and hopefully gave the listeners some memorable laughs.

Jay Crawford

At the beginning of 2004 I moved from the breakfast show to afternoon drive time, this time doing a double-headed presentation with Jay Crawford.
