Working as Scotland Today's TV critic was an enviable position. Finding out all the juicy gossip in advance was a joy for a TV addict like myself.

Having the opportunity to meet Ann Robinson wasn't as scary I thought! The BBC had a DJ special and i was chosen to appear on it.

I didn't win the Weakest Link, but at I wasn't first off either - phew!

Zingalong was filmed three years ago while I was working at the BBC. The programme was designed for pre-school children. When you become a television presenter people always say never work with children and animals - I did both over 50 episodes of Zingalong! The programme can still be seen on Cebeebies.
